The objective of the Dixie State University Cultural Arts Department is to provide professional and cost effective services to all who make use of campus facilities. Be it a student dance performance or a nationally recognized artist or performing company, the objective is to provide the required production services and trained personnel to ensure that the event is financially as well as artistically a positive experience for all involved.
Also the department strives to mentor and involve DSU students in all aspects of professional theatre production to insure the continued growth of a professional labor pool as well as to offer qualified students other professional opportunities in the field of theatre production.
Thus Cultural Arts provides an umbrella incorporating marketing of all events, management/promotion of utilization of facilities, establishment of firm community relationships that will in time strengthen the presence of DSU and the brand.
