Evenings for Educators is a free program dedicated to the professional development of elementary and secondary teachers across the state. Evenings for Educators offers keynote speakers, hands-on workshops providing in-depth instructional experiences, networking opportunities where participating teachers may share strategies and learn from each other, and free educational materials.
Free Educational Materials and Lesson Plans
At each Evening for Educators event, lesson plan packets containing digital images and curriculum developed by professional educators are available. Additional free educational materials may also be provided.
Professional Development USOE Credit
The Evenings for Educators program is an excellent way to receive professional development USOE credits. Each Evening for Educators is worth 3 licensure renewal points. In addition, by attending 5 Evenings for Educators and implementing one field test, participants will recieve one USOE semester credit.
Great Networking Oppotunites
Meet and network with teachers from all over Utah. Evenings for Educators allows for teachers to share experiences and learn from their peers. This is a wonderful opportunity for Utah educators to connect and share with colleagues. Light refreshments will be served.
